Mapping the Production of Knowledge Workshops
In June 2018, the UCDAR Mapping Production of Knowledge on Women and Gender in the Arab region reconvened at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Suad Joseph. The goal of this meeting was to draft a Maximal Proposal with regards to addressing gaps in knowledge about women and gender in the Arab Region.
Mapping Project Workshop Program -- June 2018
In April 2018, the leaders of this project met for two two-day workshops in Beirut, Lebanon to plan the research agenda and develop funding sources to support this project. Researchers on the Gender Mapping Project met at the Arab Council for the Social Sciences Headquarters Beirut, Lebanon. At that meeting the project objectives were clarified and the project name was changed to the UCDAR Mapping Production of Knowledge on Women and Gender in the Arab Region.
