The OSF Training to Engaged Transformative Gender Research was created by Dr. Suad Joseph and colleagues (NAMES) with the goal of training young Arab scholars in engaged research practices and guiding them through to publication. The founders developed four seminars across two years and selected 16 young scholars to participate.

Upcoming workshops:

November, 2016 – Amman, Jordan

The fourth of the four Transformative Gender Research will take place this November. Completing their two year-long journeys, the select participants will finish drafts of their research papers that they will then be able to submit for publication.

April, 2016 – Amman, Jordan

This was the third of four seminars on Transformative Gender Research. It covered topics such as content analysis, discourse analysis, and oral history analysis. The attendees presented their research for feedback.

This was the second of four seminars on Transformative Gender Research. It included topics such as data analysis, gathering data, survey methods, and fieldwork ethics. The participants were able to present their work for feedback.
